Used in Acceptable condition. Hardcover 1941 edition with Dust Jacket by Lawrence & Wishart Ltd. In Green boards that are discoloured by dark staining to the edges of the green boards, front and rear. The front corners of the boards are dented inwards. The Spine has a forward lean. The spine corners are bumped inwards and frayed. The spine edges have sun bleached brown, where the Dust Jacket is missing areas, especially the top and the bottom. The top of the page block is black with dust, foxing and the darkening of the paper. Pages are tight and secure.  Pages have browned with age. Foxing to page block edges. Inscription in ink and price in pencil to front end paper. Ink mark to margin of a page in the Introduction. 

The Dust Jacket is in Acceptable Condition. Although the Jacket is still in one piece it has large missing pieces to the front bottom corners. The other corners all have small missing areas with tears and fraying. The edges are scuffed with multiple tears to the front and rear covers. Foxing and discolouration to the covers front and rear.
